About Us
Welcome to Chrysaor, a dynamic film production business based on the Gold Coast, Australia. We pride ourselves on creating top-quality, impactful content that engages and resonates with worldwide audiences.
Our recent credits include the 100% Rotten Tomato certified documentary, Hating Peter Tatchell, starring Ian McKellen and Stephen Fry, winner of numerous accolades including the Audience Award at Queer Screen Sydney, the Crystal Pine Award for Original Score and Best Streaming Documentary at the Association of International Broadcast awards. Now streams exclusively on Netflix.
After world premiere at BFI Flare Festival, our cult “frockumentary” Dressed as a Girl was selected for Sheffield DocFest, Galway Film Fleadh and Melbourne Queer Film Festival. Screened on Netflix UK, SBS Australia, OutTV, Sky Italia, and DBS Israel. Is now available on Amazon Prime.
Recently our work-in-progress observational documentary One Person Protest, highlighting the decline of LGBT+ rights in Russia, was selected to screen as part of the “Goes to Cannes” programme.
Our scripted slate is underway with two features. The British queer ballroom romcom Dancing Queens is under option with Genesius Pictures in the UK.

Coming in 2025, Motorhome. Our twisty road movie thriller, Hitchcock meets Fincher vibes.
Founder Christopher Amos has received Producer of the Year nominations at the Screen Producers Australia Awards; and Director of the Year at the Australian Directors Guild Awards. He currently participates in the SPA's Ones To Watch programme, mentored by director, writer, and producer Tony Ayres.
